Stefan Majtenyi

Stefan Majtenyi (born July 21, 1885 in Nagy Majteny , † August 27, 1947 in Eisenstadt ) was an Austrian forest inspector and politician during the Austro-Fascist period . Majtenyi was married and from 1934 to 1937 a member of the Burgenland Landtag .

Life

Stefan Majtenyi was born as the son of the landowner Wenzel Heidenhofer from Nagy Majteny. He attended elementary school and then the high school in Nagykaroly . Majtenyi graduated from the School of Forestry in Selmecbanya and graduated in 1909 as a forest engineer with the academic degree of Dipl. Ing . As a result, Majtenyi had his maiden name Magyarized to the name of his place of birth and from 1911 worked in the Esterhazy goods directorate in Eisenstadt. Majtenyi represented the state of "agriculture and forestry" between November 11, 1934 and March 12, 1938 in the Burgenland state parliament.
