Stefan Seitz
Stefan Seitz (* 1944 ) is a German ethnologist.
Life
He grew up in Freiburg im Breisgau . Brsg. He studied ethnology in Freiburg and Hamburg . He received his doctorate in 1970 (Freiburg) and qualified as a professor in 1975. In 1980 he became professor in Freiburg im Breisgau, a position he held until his retirement in 2009. In 1983/84 he taught as a substitute professor at the Free University of Berlin .
Among the students are Peter Bräunlein, Ulrich Demmer , Rita Koch, Mareille Kohn, Christiane Kron, Andrea Lauser , Roman Loimeier, Jörg Schaeffer, Judith Schlehe , Achim Sibeth and Hubert Strobel.
