The Stripes Promontory is a peninsula up to 150 m high in the north of Inexpressible Island off the Scott coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It lies between the Nansen ice table in the west and Hells Gate in the east.
Italian researchers they designated 1997 after visible here, 10 to 30 m high black stripes ( English stripes ) in an otherwise bright rock.
