Hell's Gate

The Hells Gate (English for hell gate ) is a strait off the Scott coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located near the eastern edge of the Nansen Ice Table and north of Evans Cove between Inexpressible Island and the Northern Foothills .

The northern group of the Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913) led by Victor Campbell and led by the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott took the allegorical name.
