Stefan Uteß

Stefan Uteß (born October 31, 1974 in Demmin ) is a former German canoeist .

The canoe racer of SC Neubrandenburg was bronze medalist in the two-man canoe (with Lars Kober ) over 1000 m at the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000 and was awarded the silver laurel leaf by Federal President Johannes Rau on February 2, 2001. For the 2004 Olympic Games , he and his partner Thomas Lück could not qualify. Instead, Tomasz Wylenzek and Christian Gille were nominated, who won the 1000 m title in Athens .
