Stefan Zürcher

Stefan Zürcher (* 1945 ) is a Swiss stuntman and film producer .

Life

Stefan Zürcher was born in 1945. He grew up in Wengen in the Bernese Oberland. When he was 19, he moved to Toronto , Canada as an electrical mechanic . He later worked as a ski instructor in Vail and Aspen . In 1967 he worked for the James Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service , which was filmed in Lauterbrunnen Valley , as a stuntmen for the ski scenes, he chased the villain James Bond. After that, he remained loyal to the Bond films to this day. In 1969 he worked as an assistant director at Bavaria Filmstudios in Munich. He doubled Robert Redford in Downhill Racer .

In 1989 he founded Alpine Films and is active as a location manager. He has already shot here in Morocco or Greenland, z. B. daring ski movie scenes. Zürcher also produces advertising films . In 1980 he was the first to drive down the Lauberhorn race track as a camera driver.
