Stefan Zant

Stefan Zant (born January 14, 1977 in Tirschenreuth ) is a former member of the German national ski team , discipline ski freestyle

life and career

Zant was a World Cup rider for the German National Ski Freestyle Team and competed in international competitions (European Cup, World Cup, World Championships) from 1996 to 2002. Zant specialized in the Olympic freestyle discipline of moguls. In May 2002 he resigned from active competitive sports and then trained part-time for the German National Junior Team, the discipline of ski freestyle. From 1996 to 2002 Stefan Zant was funded by the sports promotion group of the Bundeswehr with a location in [Mittelwald].

His greatest successes were the 9th place in the overall World Cup ranking in the 2001/2002 season and winning the overall European Cup ranking in the 2000/2001 season. In addition to numerous victories in the European Cup and top 10 placements in the World Cup, he took 15 top 3 placements at international German championships and two top 20 placements at world championships. Furthermore, Zant stood in front of the camera in several ski films and video shoots.

After his sporting career, Zant studied business administration at the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich from 2002 to 2006 and joined the Boston Consulting Group as a management consultant in January 2007. In 2014 he switched to the media industry at ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE. In 2016 he founded ProSiebenSat.1 Sports GmbH (7Sports), which he is managing director. Zant is also the managing director of eSports.com GSA GmbH (esports.com) and Sportority Germany GmbH (90min.de).
