Stefano Reali

Stefano Reali (born November 3, 1957 in Frosinone , Latium ) is an Italian screenwriter and film director.

Life

Reali made the short film Exit in 1985 with Pino Quartullo . This was part of the six-part short film series Passione mia by Monica Vitti , which was dedicated to the cinema and which was created for Rai Uno . In this series, graduates of the Centro sperimentale di cinematografia and the Accademia nazionale d'arte drammatica were given the opportunity to distinguish themselves. The film was at the Oscars in 1987 for the Oscar as Best Short Film nomination but lost to Precious Images of Chuck Workman .

In 1988 he was nominated for the David di Donatello Award for best new director as director of the film Lost in the Jungle . He then shot for cinema and television.

In 1998 he was nominated for the Golden Ciak as the director of In barca a vela contromano .

In 2010 he won a Golden FIPA and a Silver FIPA for the television film Lo scandalo della Banca Romana at the Festival International de Programmes Audiovisuels .
