Steff Adams (born March 15, 1966 in Bochum ; actually Stephanie Adams ) is a German artist who mainly makes sculptures. She is also a regular host and founder of the international traveling exhibition "come home"

life and work

Steff Adams studied communication design , first at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal , then later at the University of Duisburg-Essen with Jürgen Klauke and Klaus Armbruster. She lives and works in Cologne today . Steff Adam's works illustrate reality and naturalness in art. Exhibitions are often designed so that the figures can be touched by the guest and are immediately available. The exhibits are life-size and brightly colored.

"come home"

The “Come home” exhibition first took place in Cologne in 1999, originally as a photo exhibition. It deals with the presentation of artistic by-products that are presented to the public as part of an exhibition in a private apartment. In addition to photos and pictures, collages, sketches and objects are also exhibited. Since 1999, “Come Home ” has been taking place around the world, including in Kolkata , Lauvsnes , Madrid , New York , Port Chalmers , Porto Alegre , São Paulo and Tokyo . The exhibition was conceptualized and brought to life by Steff Adams. The project was supported by the art funding of the Institute for Foreign Funding, the Bonn Art Fund, the City of Cologne and the Maecenia Foundation Frankfurt.
