Steffen Liebler
Steffen Liebler (born March 23, 1984 ) is a German basketball official . Since February 2011 he has held the position of managing director of Sport und Event Würzburg Baskets GmbH, the operator of the basketball team s.Oliver Würzburg . During his playing career, he played three games in the basketball league .
career
Liebler made the leap into the expanded squad of Bundesliga club TSK Würzburg for the 2003/04 season and made three short appearances in the basketball league during the year, while he also continued to play for DJK Würzburg in the second regional league.
During the 2005/06 season he completed a study visit to Northwood University in the US state of Ohio and was used for the college's basketball team in 17 games in the second division of the NCAA . He scored an average of 1.2 points per encounter. In the following years, Liebler worked for SC Heuchelhof in the regional league.
He initially worked for a car rental company before taking up the post of Managing Director of Sport und Event Würzburg Baskets GmbH, the operator of the s.Oliver Würzburg basketball team, in February 2011.
