Steffi Harrer

Stephanie Harrer (* 1973 in Unna ) is a German theater actress and acting teacher. She lives in Braunschweig .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1992, Steffi Harrer went to the Landestheater Detmold . There she worked for two years as assistant director to the director Ulf Reiher, among others for Don Juan and Faust von Grabbe. She trained as an actress from 1994 to 1998 at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin .

Engagements followed at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe , the Staatstheater Braunschweig , the Festival Theaterformen Hannover and the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden . She played in numerous leading roles, directed and developed her own scenic projects.

In 2007, she initially assisted Professor Margarete Schuler's basic lessons at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin , where she then worked independently in 2008. She also taught there as a role teacher for monologues and duo scenes.

From 2008 to 2012 she was a lecturer at the University of Music and Performing Arts Frankfurt am Main for the basics of the art of acting as well as scene and monologue studies.

Works

At the beginning of 2011 her first book on acting theory was published, Fundamentals of Acting Art , which she wrote with her colleague Margarete Schuler.
