Stein (Vogtland noble family)
The von Stein family was a Frankish noble family and can be assigned to the Vogtland knighthood .
history
Like the von Berg , von Epprechtstein, von der Grün , von Münchberg, von Radeck , von Reitzenstein , von Sparnberg, von Thoßfell, von Töpen and von Wildenstein families , the von Stein families are considered to be a line of the Sack ministerial family, mentioned in 1091 . All of these families are therefore related to the tribe and coat of arms.
coat of arms
The coat of arms shows a silver sloping bar on a red background. The crest consists of an open flight in which the sloping beam is repeated. |
