The stone from Klinta comes from the Swedish island of Öland and is one of the few Bronze Age stones with rock carvings , which also has bowls . Otherwise, scratches were mainly carried out on natural rock (deep rock).

The stone discovered north of the burial ground at Gettlinge near Smeby has particularly interesting representations.

  • a boat of the so-called Hjortspring type with a crew of seven people clearly recognizable as human outlines (which should be emphasized in view of the high degree of abstraction of other rock carvings). The number is relatively small when you consider that some ships from Himmelstal and indicate over 50 people.
  • the representation immediately above the boat is unclear. For example, other ships show a person doing a somersault over the ship (similar to the Högsbyn petroglyphs ).
  • In the upper right there is a bowl surrounded by three concentric rings. Bowls with concentric rings are common in the British Isles , but less common in Scandinavia .
  • Four bowls are picked in the upper left.
  • waves are shown at the bottom.

The stone is in the State History Museum in Stockholm .
