Steinbachtobel
The Steinbach Tobel is to Plessur toward sloping ravine on the left side of the Schanfiggs below the village Praden . The lowest part of the village Praden bears the name Steinbach borrowed from the ravine .
The Tschiertscherstrasse runs through the Steinbachtobel , which in this area often had to be closed for several days due to falling rocks and landslides, especially in spring and autumn. Since 2009, the gorge has been bridged by a two-lane reinforced concrete bridge. For this purpose, u. a. a 40 meter high rock head was removed.
Varia
The Protestant parish of Tschiertschens , Pradens and Passugg - Araschgens is called Steinbach , because the Steinbachtobel is roughly in the middle of the municipality.
