BW

From the multiple stone circle of Bohonagh ( Irish Bothanach ), of the Axial stone circle (ASC) type, east of Rosscarbery in County Cork in Ireland , nine of the once 13 stones are still standing, including the two radially arranged, almost 2.5 meter high portal stones opposite the "lying stone". The oval reclining figure of the stone circle of the Cork-Kerry series is not anchored in the ground, but lies on supporting stones.

Boulder burial

About 8 meters east of the circle is a boulder burial with a boulder weighing about 20 tons as a capstone with several bowls on its top.

Nearby are the Ahaglaslin Tomb portal and the Reanascreena stone circle .
