Gray Hill Stone Circle

Gray Hill

The stone circle of Gray Hill (also called Gray Hill; German  "gray hill" ) is located in Parc Seymour near Newport in Monmouthshire in Wales .

At least 16 stones form the stone circle ( Welsh gorsedd ) on the upper slopes of the gray hill. Many plates or stones are so close together that they touch at the ends. Inside the circle are a couple of large plates that are possibly the remains of a chamber. The circle stones are low and difficult to see in the vegetation, but there are a few outliers ( English outlier ) nearby.

Just outside the circle there are a couple of large menhirs and about 150 m away, and on the hill, the row of stones from Gray Hill begins, made up of several intact stones and some stumps. In the southeast there is a burial ground of low, overgrown hills.
