The stone circles of Lacam de Rogues 1 + 2 are located in Rogues south of Le Vigan in the far west of the Gard department in the Occitania region in southern France .

It is one of only three better preserved megalithic structures of this type in the Gard. The other two are the Lacam de Peyrarines and the Lacam de la Rigalderie (30 stones each). The name Lacam comes from Occitan , means "rest" and describes a desert or boggy area.

Lacam de Rogues 2

The central column of this Neolithic stone circle , also known as Cromlech , is the only standing menhir . It is little more than a meter high. The stone circle around it is about 90.0 m in diameter, a size rarely achieved in France . There are still a lot of stones left, but all of them have fallen over and crumbled as the white limestone is very fragile. Pieces of at least 30 stones are still preserved, most of them in the northern half of the district. The southern half is practically empty. A field wall nearby seems to have taken in a large part.

The remains of the Cromlech de Rogues 1 are 430 m away.

Nearby are the largely destroyed stone chest of Lacam and the fallen menhir Camp de Bouissière.
