Stella Cruz

Stella Cruz (birth name Estella Wiss; * 1983 in Zurich ) is a Swiss singer-songwriter .

Life & work

The daughter of a Swiss and a Filipino grew up in Zurich and graduated from the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHDK) with a master's degree in voice pedagogy. For her second album Simplify she was named Best Talent by the Swiss radio SRF 3 (then still DRS 3 ) in August 2011 and was nominated for the same work with the Swiss Music Award . Her style is characterized by a mixture of pop , folk , soul with elements of jazz .
