Stephan Dillemuth

Stephan Dillemuth (* 1954 in Büdingen ) is a German artist (installations, video, performances, painting, documentaries, publications).

Live and act

Dillemuth studied at the Munich Art Academy (with Hans Baschang ) and at the Düsseldorf Art Academy (with Dieter Krieg ). He is a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich .

From 1990 to 1994 he ran the Friesenwall 120 project space in Cologne together with Josef Strau . In 2003 he was a participant in the first Prague Biennale .

Dillemuth lives in Bad Wiessee and Munich.
