Stephan Groetzner

Stephan Groetzner (born October 5, 1965 in Hamburg ) is a German author.

Life

Stephan Groetzner worked in various professions before he began training at the Conservatory for Catholic Church Music at the Rheinische Musikschule in Cologne . He then worked as an organist and choir director in Erftstadt . From 1997 to 1999 he worked as a constable at the Potsdam Regional Court . He later worked as a gallery owner, bartender and co-operator of a literary café before devoting himself exclusively to writing. Stephan Groetzner lives and works in Berlin .

In 2018 he took part in the competition for the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize 2018 .
