Silviu Stănculescu

Silviu Stănculescu (born January 24, 1932 in Timișoara , Romania , † October 23, 1998 in Bucharest ) was a Romanian actor .

Life

Silviu Stănculescu graduated in 1956 with George Constantin , Gheorghe Cozorici , Mircea Albulescu , Draga Olteanu Matei , Silvia Popovici from the National University of Theater and Film Arts "Ion Luca Caragiale" . Together they later became known as the golden generation of Romanian cinema. He quickly established himself in the theater and played on several stages. From 1981 to 1990 he was even the director of the Teatrul de Comedie . From the mid-1960s he was also on the screen, where he took part in Romanian films such as Ein sympathischer Herr , Frühling in Oltenien and Too hot for the month of May .

Stănculescu died of leukemia on October 23, 1998 at the age of 66 . He was married and had a daughter.
