Stephan Klecha (born July 29, 1978 in Göttingen ) is a German social scientist .

Life

After graduating from the Theodor-Heuss-Gymnasium in Göttingen with an average grade of 1.2, Klecha studied social sciences from 1999 to 2004 at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen . He then worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Regional Research in Göttingen and was there in 2009 with the dissertation IG Metall and its youth work. On the role of union youth work in generational units with magna cum laude for Dr. phil. PhD. After intermediate stops in Berlin and Nuremberg, he was a research assistant at the Göttingen Institute for Democracy Research from 2012 to 2015 . Since 2013 he has been working with Franz Walter on the elucidation of pedophile tendencies in the Greens / Alliance90 . He has been working for the Hanover region since 2015 as a department head in the statistics team.

Stephan Klecha completed his habilitation in 2016 and is a private lecturer in political science with a focus on the government system of the Federal Republic of Germany at the Institute for Political Science at the University of Göttingen.

He is a member of the SPD and has recently been a multiple delegate at (federal) party conferences of the SPD. As treasurer, he worked on the board of the SPD district of Hanover . Klecha lives in Göttingen and has a daughter.
