Stephan Louis

Stephan Louis (born February 26, 1954 in Hamburg ; † July 25, 2011 there ) was a German entrepreneur .

Life

Louis, born in 1954 in Hamburg, studied business administration until 1980 and resigned in connection to the motorcycle shop Louis his father Detlev Louis one. The shop with a workshop, which was then specialized in motorcycle sales, was converted into a pure equipment and accessories trade by 1987. Together with his father and co-managing director Günther Albrecht, the company was able to achieve market leadership throughout Germany in the 1990s. In 1997 online trading was added.

Louis traveled to Zambia in 1986, where he met the Chimfunshi Chimpanzee Farm . Soon afterwards, together with Günther Albrecht, he founded an association to support this chimpanzee farm. In 2010 he left the management in order to be able to devote more time to his project. He died of a heart attack in 2011.
