The Rinnkogel is 1822  m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Salzkammergut mountains in the province of Salzburg in Flachgau . It is not far from the border with Upper Austria .

The normal route leads from the Simonhütte inn on Postalmstrasse in a wide arc from the south and finally over the partially insured west ridge to the summit, from where you have a view of the Postalm and Lake Wolfgang .
