Stephan Meyering (* 1975 in Haren an der Ems ) is a German economist .

Life

From August 1995 to July 1998 he trained as a tax clerk . From July 1998 to September 1998 he worked as a tax clerk. From October 1998 to July 2002 he studied business administration at Saarland University . In 2002 he completed his business administration studies at the Faculty of Law and Economics at the University of Saarland (Diplom-Kaufmann). From October 2002 to March 2010 he was a research assistant at the chair for business administration, especially business taxation of Heinz Kussmaul in Saarbrücken . After receiving his doctorate in 2007 as Dr. rer. oec. At the Faculty of Law and Economics in Saarbrücken he was a freelancer for Dr. Dornbach & Partner GmbH, Saarbrücken. After completing his habilitation in 2009 at the Faculty of Law and Economics at Saarland University and being awarded the venia legendi for business administration (title of the habilitation thesis: Analysis of the comparison of cash assets as an instrument for independent tax profit determination for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) against the background of income From April to June 2010, he represented the professorship for business administration, in particular tax and auditing at the FernUniversität in Hagen . Since 2010 he has held the chair for business administration, especially business taxation, in Hagen (previously chair for business administration, especially tax and business auditing).
