Stephan Paul

Stephan Paul (born September 13, 1963 in Dortmund ) is a German economist .

From 1982 to 1987 Paul studied economics at the Ruhr University in Bochum . After a doctorate and habilitation at Joachim Süchting's chair , he was offered a position at the University of Hanover in 1999 .

Since 2000 he has held the Chair of Finance and Credit Management at the Ruhr University in Bochum. One of Paul's main approaches is to analyze financial markets using neoclassical models .
