Stephan Reimertz

Stephan Reimertz (born March 4, 1962 in Aachen ) is a poet , essayist , novelist and art historian . He lives in Paris . Reimertz received his doctorate with a thesis on the painter Max Beckmann , taught and researched in the USA and worked in media and business. In addition, he wrote a number of widely read biographies and in 2001 published the novel Paper Weight , which describes the social upheavals of the 1970s using the example of a West German entrepreneurial family.
