Stephan Shaw

Stephan Shaw (* 20th September 1992 in St. Louis , Missouri , USA ) is a current undefeated professional boxer in the heavyweight division . It is managed by David McWater of Split-T Management .

Amateur career

The left-wing extremist only competed in the super heavyweight division among the amateurs .

In 2012 Shaw took part in the prestigious Golden Gloves tournament , where he defeated Raymond Bernt and Wesley Washington early in his first two fights and was eliminated in the quarterfinals by Tyrell Wright on points.

In 2013 Shaw became the American Champion and PAL National Champion . At the US Championships he defeated William Wyatt by classic knockout in round 2, Owen Minor with 2-1 on points and George Faavae by technical knockout in the 3rd round.

At the US National PAL Championships , he defeated Ryan Watson, Dante Stone and Solomon Nkosi.

In addition, Shaw took part again in 2013 in the Golden Gloves tournament. He won that tournament over Marcus Parker by breaking off and Alvin Davie on points, before he had to admit defeat on points in the semi-finals Cam Awesome.

Professional career

On December 13, 2013 Shaw made his professional debut when he knocked out his compatriot Jose Hermosillo in a 4-round fight by knocking out in round 1.
