Stephanie Dehne (born August 2, 1983 in Bremen ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and from 2015 to 2019 a member of the Bremen citizenship .

Family, education and work

Dehne is the daughter of a single mother. She attended the Horn high school and studied political science at the University of Bremen from 2003 to 2009 , completing her studies with a Master of Arts. She gained professional experience while studying through various part-time jobs such as at a drugstore chain or as a freelance journalist. From 2010 to 2012 she was an advisor for public relations and administrative staff at the SPD parliamentary group in Bremen and from 2012 to 2013 she was an advisor for general and political training at the Senator for Education, Science and Health, afterwards since 2012 personal advisor to the Senator for Health Hermann Schulte- Sasse (independent).

She lives in Bremen - Horn-Lehe .

Dehne has been a member of the SPD since 2006. From 2008 to 2010 she was a board member of the Jusos in the sub-district of Bremen-Stadt. She has been chairwoman of the Horn-Achterdiek local SPD association since 2010. From 2011 to 2015 she was a member of the advisory board in the Bremen Horn-Lehe district and was the SPD parliamentary spokeswoman there. As a volunteer she worked in the election campaign teams of the SPD in Bremen. On May 10, 2015, Stephanie Dehne was elected to Bremen's citizenship in the 2015 state election. She is considered her party's political talent.

She works in the Committee for Federal and European Affairs, International Contacts and Development Cooperation (Deputy Member), Committee on Equal Opportunities for Women (Deputy Member), Budget and Finance Committee (Land) (Deputy Member), Petitions Committee (Land) ( Deputy Member), Audit Committee (Land) (Deputy Member) and in the State Deputation for Health and Consumer Protection (Deputy Chair).
