Stephen A. Kent (2000)

Stephen Alan Kent (* 1951 or 1952) is a sociologist and religious scholar teaching at the University of Alberta . His main research interests are new religious movements and deviance . He has been a verifiable connoisseur and critic of the Church of Scientology since 1996 . In 1997 he reported to German government officials about the Scientology movement. For this he was attacked by Scientologists in June 1998 in the newspaper " The Globe and Mail ".
