Stephenson 2-18 is a red supergiant that is currently one of the largest known stars . It is located in the star cluster Stephenson 2 about 20,000 light years away in the constellation Shield . Its radius is estimated to be 2158 times that of the Sun , which is roughly 10 billion times the volume.
