Stephy Tang
Stephy Tang ( Chinese 鄧麗欣 / 邓丽欣 , Pinyin Dèng Lìxīn , Jyutping Dang 6 Lai 6 jan 1 ; born October 15, 1983 in Hong Kong , British Crown Colony) is a Chinese singer and actress . She was a member of the band Cookies before embarking on a solo career as a singer. So far she has released five CDs.

Stephy started her career as a singer in the band Cookies. The style of Cookies was teen pop. When Stephy started her solo career with the EMI record company, she changed her style to a more adult singer. Some of the songs on her first album, Coloring Stephy , had soft jazz influences. The album was awarded gold by IFPI Hong Kong.
Her second solo album was called Fantasy . The album was published a total of five times, including a deluxe edition with DVD, which contained the music videos for the album. The only difference between the four other editions was the color of the album cover: red, yellow, blue and green, which were the four different motifs of the photo shoot.
Her third album from 2007 is Dating Stephy . This album also features different covers and a special edition was released three months after the original version. The album sold just as well as the two previous ones. There was no official announcement of the award of the Gold Label Entertainment Ltd and EMI Music Hong Kong not attending IFPI in Hong Kong. However, newspapers announced that Dating Stephy had sold over 30,000 in a month, and it was worth at least gold.
Her next album, also from 2007, was titled Stephilosophy .
That same year she performed with many other artists at the SUCCESS Charity Gala in Vancouver , British Columbia , Canada .
Stephy headlining her first solo concert was titled Stephy, See Through Live 2007 . It took place from December 7th to 9th, 2007 in the newly built Star Hall in Hong Kong. A live album was released from this concert.
She also played a Mandarin version of "Breaking Free" from High School Musical with Anson Hu.
Stephy released her new album The Red Album in November 2008. Some tracks on this album, such as "女兒红", have drawn media attention to enhancing Stephy's voice.
In July 2009, Stephy published her first novel "陪着 我 走". The book is in the form of a diary of a girl who recently broke up with her lover. She goes on a cruise and writes about what she sees and does. This book also contains over 100 pages of photos, so it could also be called a photo book.
