The Star of Nanchang (南昌 之 星, Pinyin: Nánchāng zhī Xīng or 南昌 之 星 摩天 轮, Pinyin: Nánchāng zhī Xīng Mótiānlún) is the third largest Ferris wheel in the world with a height of 160 meters after The High Roller and the Singapore Flyer .

It is in China's Nanchang in the province of Jiangxi . The construction of the Ferris wheel cost 57 million yuan (about 5.53 million euros ). The entrance fee for a ride in the star of Nanchang is 50 yuan (about 4.90 euros).

The Ferris wheel has 60 gondolas with a capacity of 8 people each, which results in a total capacity of 480 people. One rotation takes about 30 minutes. Due to the low speed , passengers can get on and off without the Ferris wheel having to stop.

With the opening of the Singapore Flyer on March 1, 2008, the star of Nanchang was replaced as the largest Ferris wheel in the world.
