Steve Binetti

Steve Binetti (born Stefan Bieniek on June 1, 1966 in Berlin ) is a German composer, musician and painter. He was a member of numerous rock'n'roll and blues bands of the Berlin underground and released several CDs solo or with bands.

Life

Since 1984 Steve Binetti was a band member or co-founder of "Hard Pop" , "This pop generation" and "BRONX" . Some of these appeared in compilations under the label The other bands . He played in projects with the Bolshevik Kurkapelle , Steven Garling , Conrad Bauer , Klaus Selmke , Paul Landers ( Rammstein ), Christoph Schneider (Rammstein) and Christian Lorenz (Rammstein), Peter Hollinger, Frank Neumeier and many more.

Since 1992 he has worked as a composer and musician at various German theaters, including the Volksbühne Berlin , the Schillertheater (Berlin) , Maxim Gorki Theater , the Centraltheater Leipzig and the Schauspielhaus Bremen. He mainly composed and played for productions by Frank Castorf , such as in “Clockwork Orange” , “Fruen fra Havet” , “Honeymoon” and “Terrordrom” . During this time Steve Binetti gave many concerts in Europe and South America, including 1994 in Berlin with the Pogues and Joe Strummer (former singer of The Clash ). In 2006 he composed the score for the feature film “Herzentöter” with Katja Flint in the lead role.
