Steve Garbade
Steve Garbade (* 1979 in Baton Rouge , Louisiana ) is an American composer , cellist and sound designer based in Los Angeles . As a film music composer, he won an Emmy in 2017 for the music for the film Daisy Belle .
Life
Garbade studied composition and film music at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he also played the cello in the latter's string quartet. He composed the music for the multi-award-winning films by William Wall: The Immortal Edward Lumley and Zer o. Garbade has received several San Diego Film Awards. He has received the Emmy Award for Composition and Arrangement for his music for the film Daisy Belle in 2017. His theater works include productions at the Long Beach Playhouse, the Atwater Playhouse of Los Angeles and the Pacific Residents Theater in Venice, California.
