Steve Pasvolsky
Steve Pasvolsky (* 1966 in South Africa ) is an Australian film director and computer game developer.
Life
Pasvolsky was born in South Africa as one of four children, but grew up in Australia in the mid-1970s. His brother is actor Jonathon Pasvolsky .
He initially studied civil engineering at the University of New South Wales from 1985 to 1990 and earned his money as a builder. From 1998 to 2001 she studied directing and scriptwriting at the Australian Film Television and Radio School . His graduation film was the short film Inja about the relationship between dog and human. Inja was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Short Film in 2003 .
From 2000 to 2005 Pasvolsky worked for Film Graphics in the advertising department and brought out his first feature-length film as a director in 2005: Tony Hawk starred in the skater drama Deck Dogz , among others . In 2007 Pasvolsky developed the computer game Huey's Planet , which was available as a Facebook app , among other things . In 2008 he founded the production company Skystone Productions with Joe Weatherstone , with which he made advertising and feature films, among other things. The Beachtown computer game followed in 2010 .
