Steve Perry (* 31 August 1947 in the USA ) is an American science fiction - author and television scriptwriter.

Life

Steve Perry was born and raised in the southern United States. Before he started working as a writer, he had a number of different jobs, including a. he was a swimming instructor. In addition to his work as a novelist, he also wrote screenplays, including a. for Batman: The Animated Series . His best-known work is the novel Star Wars - Shadow of the Empire from the Star Wars Universe. Perry has written over 50 books. He is married and has two children. His daughter SD Perry (Stephani Danielle) is also an SF writer. He is not to be confused with the cartoon author of the same name, who was responsible for the hit series Thundercats and was the victim of a gruesome robbery in May 2010.
