Steve Riley

Steve Riley (born January 22, 1956 in Revere , Massachusetts ) is an American musician who became known in the 1980s as the drummer for the rock bands W.ASP and LA Guns .

biography

Steve Riley was born in Massachusetts. When he saw the drummer Gene Krupa on TV as a child , he decided to become a drummer too. With the band Roadmaster he played the debut of the same name in 1976 before he left the band.

With the band The B'ZZ he also played their debut album Get Up in 1982 . After a brief stint at Keel , he was finally offered in the summer of 1984 to replace Tony Richards at WASP . In addition to the 1984 home video Live At The Lyceum , Riley can be heard on the albums The Last Command (1985), Inside the Electric Circus (1986) and the live recording Live… In The RAW (1987) before he left the band and joined the band LA Guns , where he drummed for 27 years.
