Stevens (racing car)

Stevens was an American chassis manufacturer in monoposto racing cars in the 1950s.

The Stevens racing cars were used in the AAA National Series in the first half of the 1950s . In 1950, and from 1952 to 1956, the vehicles were also used by different teams in the Indianapolis 500 mile race . In 1950, Duane Carter drove a Stevens with an Offenhauser engine to 13th place overall. The best result in Indianapolis for a Stevens achieved in 1953 Ernie McCoy with the eighth place overall. Best grid position was the pole position of Jerry Hoyt 1955th
