Stevie Riga (born September 15, 1989 in Sucy-en-Brie ) is a French football player .

Career

Riga was born near the French capital Paris , where he started playing football for a small club before he was accepted into the youth department of the US Créteil . In 2008 he moved to SCO Angers , where he was in the professional squad, but was initially not used in the second division. His debut took place on November 6, 2009, when he ran full time for the team in the 2-0 home win against SC Bastia . After two more missions in the 2009/10 season, he was also used sporadically in the following season. At the beginning of the 2011/12 season he was able to book more regular missions, but suffered a serious injury in a game of the reserve team in November. After a long break caused by this, he was no longer considered for the professional team. In November 2013, he retired from SCO at the age of 24 due to injury problems. After that, he initially remained without a club until he joined the fifth division SO Cholet in the summer of 2014 . With this he reached promotion to fourth division at the end of the 2014/15 season, but at this point he joined the fifth division FC Challans .
