Sthenelos (father of Cyknos)
Sthenelos ( Greek Σθένελος , Latin Sthenelus ) is the father of the Ligurian king Kyknos in Greek mythology .
His son, who mourned Phaethon, who had fallen from heaven, was transformed into a swan by Apollo . Sthenelos must have been related to Phaethon in an indeterminable relationship, since his maternal son was related to him by blood.
