The house Stieg 6 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It's located east of the city's market square and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . It is registered as a merchant's house in the Quedlinburg monument register. To the east is the building 7 , which is also a listed building .

Architecture and history

The three-storey half - timbered house was built by the master carpenter Martin Lange in 1678 based on the inscription M. MARTIN LANGE ZIMMERMAN on the building, which was later changed with a coat of arms . It has a mezzanine floor in the high basement, the upper floors protrude. On the half-timbered facade there are pyramid beam heads , St. Andrew's crosses and profiled filler wood.
