Haus Stieg 7 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It's located east of the city's market square and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . It is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register. House Stieg 6 , which is also a listed building, is adjacent to the west and House Stieg 8, 9 to the east .

Architecture and history

The three-storey half - timbered house was built in 1668. An inscription with crossed hatchets on the building names the master carpenter ANDREAS SCHRÖDER as the builder. The building has a mezzanine floor . The decorative elements include pyramid beam heads , ship throats , foot struts and St. Andrew's crosses . The compartments are provided with decorative lining.
