Bull's house
The Stiersche Haus is a listed town house in Schwäbisch Hall . It is located in the row of houses bordering the market square to the north and has the address Am Markt 10.
The building was built in 1738 as a baroque plastered building with stucco decor and a mansard roof for Privy Councilor Johann Stier. Since October 8, 1925, the house has been entered in the state directory of architectural monuments in Württemberg. Presumably a stone residential tower originally stood at this point, which fell victim to the city fire in 1728. An inscription reads: “What God's wrath consumed through fire in 1728. His rich love bestowed me anew in 1732.” Eugen Gradmann accepted the architect of Hall's town hall as the designing master builder . According to Gradmann, Stiersche Haus shows a stylistic relationship to the Corps de Logis of Ludwigsburg Palace .
