The University FESC (officially Spanish Fundación de Estudios Superiores Comfanorte , translated "Foundation for Higher Studies Comfanorte") commonly known simply as FESC , is a Colombian university with the legal form of the foundation . On August 23, 1995, she began her academic career in the city of Cúcuta in the Departamento de Norte de Santander .
The institution has 8 degree programs, 44 diploma programs, 2 specializations and 7 master’s degree programs for a total of 61 academic programs as well as numerous research groups.
The university is home to the only professional graphic design faculty in the region, several research groups, and a modern campus for its students' academic activities. There are also various institutional agreements with higher education institutions and national universities. There are also several inter-institutional agreements with universities in Mexico , Argentina , the Netherlands , Spain , Brazil , China , and other countries.
history
The FESC was created on August 23, 1995 by the management group of the Northern Family Fund of Santander Comfanorte in order to provide more added value to the beneficiaries. With the Resolution 04172 of the Ministry of National Education through the ICFES for legal status the FESC was authorized to initiate educational activities.
