Stjepan Romić

Stjepan Romić (born September 1, 1906 in Rešetari , today Croatia , † June 21, 1982 ) was a Yugoslav veterinarian .

He studied at the University of Zagreb , where he received his doctorate in 1935 and later became a full professor of zoo hygiene at the Faculty of Agriculture. From 1954 to 1956 he was President of the Croatian Veterinary Association and from 1953 to 1963 Deputy Chairman of the Croatian Cavalry Association. His scientific focus was on animal husbandry and zoo hygiene. In addition, he dealt with dog breeding .
