The Stock Beck is a watercourse in Lancashire , England . It arises on the north side of Weets Hill, southwest of Barnoldswick . It flows first in a north-easterly direction to Barnoldswick and changes its direction to north when crossing the village. South of Horton after crossing under the A59 road , it changes direction to the west. It flows in this direction up to its confluence with the River Ribble north of Gisburn .
