Stock fishing license
The stick fishing license is a Bremensie that invokes the stick fishing rights of Bremen citizens, which Emperor Charles V issued in the 16th century. It is only valid in the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen and entitles Bremen citizens over the age of 18 to fish with a maximum of two pole rods in the Weser , the Kleine Weser , the Lesum upstream to the Burger road bridge (in Burglesum ) and the tide-dependent part of the Geeste . The Bremen Fisheries Act (BremFiG § 9 Stock Angling Law for Bremen citizens) of September 17, 1991 has taken this into account. The stick fishing license is not a fishing license . Exceptions are the ports of Bremen and protected areas and nature reserves.
