Stockdorf is a desert between Greifenhagen and Hettstedt in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt . The place was in the valley of the Stockbach at the mouth of a trickle into it.

history

Stockdorf was probably a clearing settlement from the time of the Franconian Empire, the place was first mentioned on August 10, 1121, Bishop Reinhard von Halberstadt then confirmed the possessions of the Wimmelburg monastery , including 4 Hufen in Stocdorph . In the feudal letter from Archbishop Ernst on April 22, 1477, Stockdorf belongs to the Mansfeld Castle Office . After the desolation of the village, which is at least 8 Hufen large, the area is reforested, the localization has merged into that of Rödgen.
