The Stockholm Stock Exchange ( sw .: Stockholmsbörsen) is the stock exchange in the Swedish capital Stockholm . Since 1998 she has been a 100 percent subsidiary of the NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. , an American-Scandinavian Community Stock Exchange .

The stock exchange, which was founded in 1863, was located in the Börshuset on Stortorget Square in Stockholm's Old Town ( Gamla stan ) until 1998 . In this building complex, which was designed by the Swedish architect Erik Palmstedt , is now the Swedish Academy as well as the Nobel Museum and the Nobel Library .

The most important share index on the stock exchange is the OMX Stockholm 30 , it comprises the 30 most traded Swedish companies.
